Jigang is an experienced IP and commercial lawyer. His practice covers both transactional and litigation matters in industries including telecommunication, consumer electronics, semiconductor, computer software and hardware, wireless and mobile, Internet, robot, artificial intelligence, and medical device. His deep technical knowledge and experience allow him to quickly understand clients' technology and bring optimal legal solutions for client's issues.
Jigang has helped both well-established companies as well as startup companies obtain patents and trademarks. In addition, he has litigated IP and commercial matters in California state courts, U.S. district courts, and participated in International Trade Commission investigations. Jigang also has extensive experience including trial experience in front of the USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in opposing or defending trademark registrations/applications. Jigang has also helped clients in navigating the complicated technology export control issues, including conducting technology export control searches and issuing legal opinions, as well as advising clients on data security and privacy matters. Before starting JIN LAW FIRM, Jigang worked as an IP and litigation attorney at several prestigious international firms.
Prior to attending law school, Jigang worked as a software engineer designing and developing distributed and web-based software systems for major insurance companies. He also has experience working on various software system integration projects.
